Pakistan Cultural Day

The Department of Pakistan Studies organized “Pakistan Cultural Day” on March 21, 2023.  The students of different backgrounds presented their cultural heritage. The Dean FSS Prof. Dr. Khalid Sultan, along with the Head of the Department Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Malik, witnessed the event and interacted with the students. The students also presented their dresses, cultural dances, food and literature to the Guests. The Dean FSS and HoD Pakistan Studies highly praised the students for their efforts in presenting the colourful culture of Pakistan. The Dean FSS emphasizes the students to foster interfaith harmony for the promotion of patriotism in Pakistan....

The Department of Pakistan Studies arranged a guest lecture titled “The Role of Media in Promoting National Harmony and Youth Development”, on March 17, 2023, at 10: am in the Multipurpose Hall, Ibn-e-Khalidoon Block. The lecture was delivered by a seasoned journalist Javed Sidique. The Head of the Department, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Malik, faculty members and the students of Pakistan Studies, also interacted with the Senior Journalist to retrieve knowledge on contemporary affairs.

Study Trip to the National Monument

The Department of Pakistan Studies organised a study trip on March 17, 2023, for its students to visit the National Monument of Pakistan. During the trip, students visited the National Museum and witnessed the historical collections, placed in the museum. The study trip aimed at enlightening the students about the history of Pakistan.
