ALLAMA IQBAL POETRY RECITAL COMPETITION-2023

The Grand Finale of Allama Iqbal Poetry Recital Competition-2023 was organized by Allama Iqbal Society NUML (AISN), Department of Persian Studies on 4th April 2023 at Confucius Seminar Hall, Ibn-e-Khaldun block, NUML. Director General NUML presided the occasion and presented the shields and certificates to the winners of the competition. Pro-Rector R&SI, Dean FoL also graced the occasion.

German Department celebrated Earth Day on 5th April 2023. It included Plantation and Painting Competition.

Interactive Session on Emotional Intelligence

Department of Applied Psychology conducted an interactive session on " Emotional Intelligence " as on 04th April 2023. Resource person was Dr sobia masood , National institute of Psychology, QAU islamabad.Students and faculty members actively participated in the question answer session. Resource person emphasized upon the association between Emotional intelligence and well-being.

NUML Wins 2nd Position in PTV Competition

The students of Pakistan Studies, Raqeeb Asghar and Salsabil Sajid, win the second position in the PTV program "Know your Constitution".  As many as eight universities participated in the programme where the students of NUML secured the second position. The Head of the Department, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Malik congratulated the students for their success in the programme and made NUML proud.

Seminar: Autism spectrum disorder

Psychology club, Department of Applied Psychology arranged a one day seminar on Autism spectrum disorder,  The objective of this seminar was to create awareness regarding adjustment  issues faced by  people with Autism spectrum disorder  (ASD). Resource Person was Dr. Nelofar kiran, National institute of Psychology, QAU, Islamabad.

World Poetry Day by English Literary Society on 21st March

English Literary Society (ELS) celebrated the World Poetry Day on March 21, 2023. Students were encouraged to share their poetic works on the occasion. A poetry-display board was designed to give students opportunity to post their works for other readers. A healthy participation from students was observed during the event.
