Consultant & Business Analyst for Dubai based Foreign Company- UNIDAN. Successfully completed many International Tender Projects for Power Generation Units (Turnkey) in KSA.

Sep 1992- May 2010: (Job in Saudi Arabia) Position held: Foreign Procurement Specialist in Purchase & Marketing Department of “Southern Province Cement Company”. Over 18 years successfully executed procurements from abroad Machineries, Equipment & Spare Parts, prepared Guarantees, Performance bonds, Undertakings & Contracts. Analyzed Inventories, evaluation of Quotations, & placement of Purchase Orders & opening of Letters of Credit.
Apr 1990- Sep 1992: Worked in Pakland Cement, Karachi in Managerial capacity in its Procurement department. Responsibilities were similar to as described above but with more compelling challenges of physical supervisions of field staffs deployed for Clearing, forwarding & shipping related works. Liaising with Govt.departments, Custom & Port Authorities.
Sep 1989- Feb 1990: Worked with Trans pack Freight Forwarding Company, Karachi as General Manager (Import, Export &Coordination). Over all management & supervision of imports & exports of Oil Fields Heavy machineries & equipment. Many other Customs & Port related activities as narrated above.
Jun 1980 - Sep 1989: Worked with Overseas Trading Corporation, Karachi in various capacities: Correspondent, Senior Executive (Commercial & Administration) & Manager for Company’s both divisions: (1) Iron & Steel & (2) C&F (Clearing, Forwarding, Import & Export).
Major activities of Steel Division: Acquiring requirements from various Re-Rolling Mills across country, procuring items like Pig Iron, Steel Billets, HR/CR Rolls from Pakistan Steel Mills and ensuring dispatches to Buyers’ facilities. Timely execution of Orders & realization of Payments.
Major activities of C&F Division: Had over 20 Clientage of different types of manufacturers. One Major client was Fauji Fertilizer whose Fertilizer Plant at Rahimyar Khan was an important project. Jointly with 2 Foreign Companies- AQUATAR & ITALTECHO this gigantic task was successfully completed.
Feb1979-July1979: Worked with AL-AMIN HOUSING DEVELOPERS, Karachi as Manager. Streamlined & systematized its administrative, accounting, marketing & sales avenues and successfully built effective Work Force Team and introduced Record Keeping System.
1973-1980: Worked with Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Pakistan) in its News Bureau (CNO), Islamabad as News Translator, News Supervisor, News Reader & in its External Service as Script, Feature & Play writer, Drama artist & Announcer.
During this period from Nov 1975 to Feb 1976 worked in the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad as a nominee of Federal Public Service Commission for its Translation Bureau.

Jan 1971 - 8thDec 1971: As Civilian Instructor taught “Bengali Language Short Course Programs” to the West Pakistani Non-Bengali Officers posted in East Pakistan.
1976-1978: Worked as English Lecturer (Part time) with Asia College, Rawalpindi. Enjoyed and experienced academic values of learning and teaching.
